We’ve noticed a noticeable increase in mobile traffic over the last year (2012-2013) – the graph below pretty much says it all.

Mobile starts out as being a relatively small player – compared to desktop traffic – but with the rise of smart phones you can see it really increasing as a percentage of hits between March and July 2013 – and pretty much equalling desktop traffic in July 2013.

Responsive mobile designs are going to become a standard requirement soon.
